Fitness is a lifestyle
Around here, we believe that fitness is a way of life, rather than being isolated to the time spent at a gym working out. It’s not just the 30 or 60 minutes that we spend at the gym or doing a workout video. I know first hand that working out and eating well can be a challenge. Prior to becoming a personal trainer, I spent 10 years working as an organizational strategy consultant where I was challenged on a daily basis to make time for her well-being. As a result, I have a true understanding of the commitment and support needed to transition to a healthier lifestyle.

Progress, not perfection
With the onset of more information about fitness, healthy eating, and healthy living, it is be easy to become overwhelmed. Additionally, the volume of quick weight loss strategies, 30-day ab challenges, restrictive diet strategies, and the like can make you feel like healthy living is all or nothing. I’m here to tell you that it isn’t! I advocate for a methodical, gradual approach that supports long-term lifestyle changes. You’ll find me balancing healthy meals with ice cream treats and a glass of wine (or two). There are places for indulgences in a healthy lifestyle; and there are ways to incorporate workouts in the context of your daily routine. Getting on the path to a healthy, active lifestyle is about incremental progress, not quick fixes or perfection.

A custom approach
Each person has different goals, so why should you use a canned workout program? The answer is simple–you shouldn’t. When you work with me, you’ll get a program designed for you! Perhaps that means a strength training program that compliments your marathon training schedule or a training program to help you do your first push-up on your toes. Regardless of your abilities or goals, we will work together to develop a program specifically for you and your goals!

Let’s work together to achieve your goals through a thoughtful and tailored wellness program.
