Let’s get acquainted!

Hi, I’m Christine! I’m so glad you are here and cannot wait to connect with you. I’m the chief executive coach of this operation. Throughout my life, I have always felt a keen interest and passion for health and wellness. I am extremely passionate about what I do. I love getting to know my clients, discovering their strengths and values, and helping them achieve their wellness vision.

I live with my husband, son, and Old English Sheepdog, Paddy, in Winston-Salem, NC. I knew nothing of the Camel City prior to visiting the area and then moving here. I simply love how beautiful it is; how easy it is to get around the city (and usually with minimal traffic); and the friendly people you find everywhere. It truly is home.

When I’m not working, you can probably find me running on some local trails. I’m an avid runner and enjoy seeing the world on two feet. I have run 4 marathons (Marine Corps x2, Disney, and Richmond) and countless half marathons, 10ks, 5ks and other races. My top three race experiences are the 2013 Marine Corps Marathon which was my first marathon; the 2014 Walt Disney World Dopey Challenge; and 2014 Rock ‘n’ Roll Dublin Half Marathon.

I love to travel and explore new places. Arriving at the airport en route to a new place makes me giddy with excitement. My favorite places that I have been include Bermuda, Paris, Hawaii, London, Killarney, and Napa. Upcoming travel adventures include visiting The Greenbrier resort and a family trip to Boston.

Cooking and baking are some of my favorite pastimes. I love experimenting with new recipes and flavors. My cookbook shelf is full and my coffee table is typically littered with recipes that I have ripped out of magazines like Cooking Light, Southern Living, and Garden and Gun. I enjoy the challenge of preparing real, healthy foods in tasty and creative ways.

Time my alarm goes off: 5:30 AM on the weekdays and 7:00 AM on the weekends

In my Netflix queue: The Crown, Queer Eye, Mad Men (I’ve seen it several times but plan to start at the beginning again)
Favorite book: All time would have to be The Great Gatsby and recent read is Present over Perfect
The best way to waste an afternoon: Wandering around downtown Winston-Salem or playing in the yard with my family
Favorite movie: The Cutting Edge
Favorite beverage: A homemade latte (from my husband) or a glass of really good wine
Nuts about: My alma mater, Bucknell University; handbags; Boston sports; finding space and time to truly connect in this fast-paced world
